You must create a new account in MoEngage (a one-time task) based on your organization's requirements. **Prerequisite** You must have a valid subscription code from MoEngage. Contact your sales representative at MoEngage to obtain your subscription code. # Create a New Account Perform the following steps to create a new account in MoEngage: 1. Visit the following URL: ```auto theme={null} https://dashboard-0X.moengage.com/v4/#/auth/signup ``` The 'X' in the URL refers to the MoEngage data center (DC). MoEngage hosts each customer in a different DC. You can find your DC number (value of X) and replace the value of 'X' in the URL by referring to the DC and API endpoint mapping [here](/user-guide/data/key-concepts/data-centers-in-moengage). The Create your account page appears.

2. Complete your account creation using one of the following methods: * [Using a password](#h_01JG6F6BB77VWQQEKJ1MG51SKR) * [Using your Google account](#h_01HCF71DEQY09CG9KXW1AYQ73F) ## Using a Password Perform the following steps to create a new account using a password: 1. In the **Company name (Workspace name)** box, type your company name or workspace name. This will be the name of your account in the MoEngage dashboard, which is called a *workspace*. 2. In the **Work email**box, type your work email. 3. In the **Password** box, type your password. Ensure the password meets the following criteria: * Contains 8 to 20 characters. * Contains one capital letter. * Contains one number. * Contains one special character among !@#\$%^&\*()\_?/,`<>`;:`{}`|\~ and no space. 4. In the **Subscription code** box, type your subscription code. 5. Select the **I agree to the Terms of use and Privacy policy** check box. 6. Click **Get Started**.

You are directed to the following page. MoEngage sends an email to your registered email address for verification.

If you have not received an email to activate your account, click **Resend Verification Email**. 7. Open the email you received from MoEngage and click the link to activate your account.

After the verification, you are directed to the login page of the MoEngage dashboard.

2. On the **Sign in with Google** page, choose your Google account.

3. On the Sign in to moengage.com page, click **Continue**.

The **Finish signing up** page appears.

4. In the **Company name (Workspace name)** box, type your company name or workspace name. This will be the name of your account in the MoEngage dashboard, which is called a *workspace*. 5. In the **Subscription code** box, type your subscription code. 6. Click **Continue**.

You have now successfully created an account in MoEngage. You are directed to the login page of the MoEngage dashboard.

MoEngage enables 2-step verification by default to protect your account from unauthorized access using an authenticator app. When you try to log in, MoEngage prompts you to set up 2-step verification. You must configure a one-time verification setup on your device to proceed with login.
